Learn to paint beautiful landscapes, while funding the efforts of IJM to end slavery in our lifetime.

I first learned about "International Justice Mission" through a friend who went on multiple trips to minister to women rescued from human traffickers. When I asked her how I could support her mission, she directed me to IJM. She said it was the most trustworthy organization she knew of, that was successfully rescuing people (including very young children) from extremely heartbreaking situations. Within a short time IJM was recommended to me by another friend and then the pastor of my church as well.

For about 4 years now, my husband and I, have been freedom partners with IJM and have seen the amazing work they accomplish. It is reassuring to know of the many successful rescues and of human traffickers being brought to justice.

IJM is involved from start to finish: educating and gaining the cooperation of the local authorities, doing the actual rescues, counselling the rescued and getting them to safe homes.

I am also very impressed with how IJM connects with their donors. In 2020, I was invited to communicate with Eugene (Director of Development and Mobilization, BC Canada Development) with any ideas or questions I had about their work.

I am so thankful for that contact because it led to more contact. I was able to offer the idea of using my art and painting skills to introduce more people to IJM and provide more donations for their work.

In 2019, I had the idea and opportunity to paint live at an IJM fundraiser. The painting was then auctioned and 100% of the proceeds went towards IJM. It was so satisfying to be able to use my art to help, and I knew that I wanted to do more.
