“Arbutus Serenity” is a 45" x 56"  coastal arbutus tree painting inspired by Smuggler’s Cove on the Sunshine Coast BC, part of my collection of west coast art. This original painting is currently available. 
 
This piece features two large arbutus trees growing from a rocky outcropping, leaning over a sun-drenched cliff in a quiet cove. The sky is softly white-washed, allowing the deep, saturated blue of the ocean to stand out as it ripples in the wind beyond.
 
The composition captures a sense of warmth, light, and stillness, with the arbutus trees framing a peaceful west coast scene. The contrast between the bright cliff, soft sky, and rich ocean tones creates a feeling of calm and coastal serenity.
