“Selma Park Arbutus” is a 15" x 30" arbutus tree painting inspired by the dramatic coastal scenery near the Selma Park boat launch near Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast BC, a part of my collection of west coast art. This original acrylic painting on stretched canvas is currently available.
 
This piece features a large arbutus tree gracing the top of the art piece, stretching over the semi secluded bay near Selma Park. In the these very waters, many grey whales have been spotted recently.  The rich colored, peeling, arbutus bark looks stunning against the teal blue sky beyond.
