“Poise Island Arbutus” is a coastal arbutus tree painting inspired by Poise Island in Sechelt Inlet on the Sunshine Coast BC, part of my collection of west coast art. The original 10" x 20" painting has sold, but I would be happy to create a custom original in a similar style.
 
This piece features a distinctive arbutus tree growing from a rugged, rocky island and stretching out over the ocean. The composition highlights the iconic character of Poise Island, with coastal mountains in the background adding depth and a sense of place.
The contrast between the textured rock, the flowing form of the tree, and the calm coastal waters captures the unique beauty of the British Columbia coastline.
